Golden milk comes from Ayurvedic cuisine and is said to invigorate the senses and generally benefit the body. But why?
This is mainly due to the wonder spice turmeric, which is said to strengthen the cell membranes in the body and improve resistance against diseases.
The active ingredient curcumin is a natural antioxidant, which is said to prevent skin aging, among other things. In addition, turmeric has anti-inflammatory properties, stimulates liver function, and helps the body with detoxification.
Furthermore, the root is said to promote digestion and alleviate stomach complaints. According to Ayurvedic teachings, turmeric is a true detox cure for the body.
